An excellent opportunity has arisen for a junior software engineer / developer to join this dynamic company at an exciting stage in its growth. The successful candidate will be involved in the support and development of knowledge-based software solutions, developing skills to encompass the full product lifecycle, including customer support, software development, product testing and implementation, and consultancy.

The applicant should possess a good degree in either an IT based subject or Electrical / Electronic Engineering. The role would suit a new or recent Graduate. Previous work experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Knowledge and experience of the following technologies is highly desirable: Java; SQL; HTML; XSL; XML; JavaScript. Experience in web design is essential. Skills such as Apache Tomcat, Eclipse, Crystal Reports, Oracle, MS SQL Server and MySQL would be also be an advantage.

Enthusiasm, commitment, and the ability to work in a small team are essential.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are also a must as you will be expected to work closely with customers, as well as being an integral member of a technical team.

The role will be based in the Chester / North Wales area, but travel to customer sites, both in the UK and abroad, will be required.
